The Story

Brooklyn Org (BKO) is a hub for local philanthropy, directing resources to nonprofits across the borough. Following a major rebrand, BKO aimed to double the size and impact of its annual gala and partnered with RHE to lead fundraising coordination and event production.

Our Role

The central challenge was transforming a 22,000-square-foot raw industrial space into a warm, elegant, and contemporary gala venue for 600 guests. RHE oversaw all branding and creative execution, aligning designers and vendors to ensure the event reflected BKO’s new identity.

The Impact

Our team supported the honorees and the committee with customized fundraising outreach, managed the event website and fundraising tracker, and ensured consistent, high-quality communications.

When the Development Director left mid-project, RHE immediately pivoted, providing expanded support to sustain outreach, donor engagement, and revenue momentum—ensuring the event stayed on track and delivered a powerful, celebratory experience for the Brooklyn community.
