— About Rebecca Hollander, Founder

I am an experienced creator, connector, and world traveler, who brings over 22 years of experience in special events, marketing, community relations, and philanthropy. 

My team at Rebecca Hollander Events is dedicated to creating experiences that are elegant, engaging, and unforgettable. We work closely with our clients to ensure your brand shines and each guest remembers your event as the Greatest of All Time.

It all started with an elephant.

My passion for event planning started at Tulane University.  Always looking for a way to do good, deliver excitement, and stretch my creativity, I brought an elephant to the school's TGIF event, raising funds for the Audubon Zoo. The Dean approved the event application never thinking an elephant would really walk down McAlister Drive onto the Quad. After that, he read my applications more carefully!

After Tulane, I returned to Long Island, where I became the marketing director for the Americana Manhasset. In that role, I collaborated on events-centered marketing strategies with luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermes, Ferragamo, Brooks Brothers, DIOR and Bottega Veneta. 

My talent for creating meaningful brand experiences in the luxury arena led me to starting the Americana Manhasset Concours D’Elegance, where I collaborated with Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati, and other brands. I also spearheaded Champions for Charity®, a multi-day philanthropy shopping event that has raised more than $13 million in charitable donations over the past 21 years.


Christina Smiros, Design Director

With a MFA in Visual Studies and a MS in Narrative Medicine, I bring a passion for visual storytelling to my design work, applying it to everything from the digital ecosystem to thoughtfully curated events. When I’m not engrossed in perfecting a client’s Instagram feed and engagement, you’ll find me roaming around the galleries and coffee shops of Lower Manhattan.


Sasha Ganeles, Creative Strategist

My background is in Anthropology and Psychology, which means I’m obsessed with finding the connections between cultural, emotional, and social trends. As a word nerd with a creative side, I find the best way to communicate with an audience is through brand storytelling.
